Dear Reach for the Stars Nursing Scholarship Program,

I want to thank you for choosing me to be one of the recipients for the most recent Reach for the Stars Nursing Scholarships. This program is allowing me to participate in the community college partnership with the University of Kansas, which was out of my price range when I first started researching it since I was paying for school out of pocket. Now I can complete my ADN and BSN at the same time, debt-free.

Not only that, but I will be able to focus on school by not having to work extra to afford tuition. Finishing my associate took me years since I was paying out of pocket. Sometimes I was only able to afford one class at a time while working overtime.

Providing future nursing students with tuition is such an amazing thing. This foundation its life changing for so many of us. It is the best way to honor those who inspired this scholarship. My life will be improving thanks to the contribution made by this foundation. Thank you.
