Citrix is the secure environment for accessing health system applications remotely. To access Citrix using your browser, go to access.kumed.com.

While Citrix web access via your web browser is the preferred method to remotely access O2, installation of the Citrix Workspace client remains an option.  This may be preferred for some specific workflows, such as using a PowerMic handheld microphone for Dragon dictation, instead of using the PowerMic Mobile app.

How to install Citrix Workspace for remote O2 access

1. Install Citrix - Follow these instructions to install Citrix for Windows or Mac on your home device and set up required multi-factor authentication (MFA).
   • Install Duo MFA (PDF)
   • Install Citrix Workspace for MacOS (PDF, network access required)
   • Install Citrix Workspace for Windows (PDF, network access required)
2. Access Remote Desktop via Citrix
   • Go to access.kumed.com
   • Find your hostname (PDF)
   • Follow the instructions to authenticate and launch Remote Desktop (PDF)
3. Adjust display settings if needed

Nuance PowerMic Users

Using the PowerMic Mobile app (info available on our Mobile apps and devices page) is recommended for Citrix web access. However, if you would like to use a handheld PowerMic with Citrix Workspace on a personal Windows device, please download and install the client extensions below. (At this time, handheld PowerMics are not compatible with macOS.)
