Due to the inclement weather conditions, our teams are working to ensure health system locations are ready to provide care. Our patients and staff safety is our utmost concern at this time.
To ensure ample time for this preparation, start times at many of clinics are delayed. See detailed information below for The University of Kansas Health System, Olathe Health and The University of Kansas Cancer Center locations.

The University of Kansas Health System locations

We will see patients on Monday, January 6.
- Clinics will have delayed start times Monday.
- Clinics will have delayed start times Monday.
- Patients scheduled for procedures and those with in-person appointments scheduled for tomorrow morning should watch their phones for text communication, if you haven’t already communicated with your physician’s office or treatment area.
- If your in-person appointment hasn’t already converted to telehealth (if appropriate) or been rescheduled, our care teams will be expecting you. Please watch for communication from your care team regarding possible delays.
- If you are concerned about travel conditions, contact your care team through MyChart of by phone to adjust your in-person appointment.
- Pharmacies will be open.
- Walk-in lab locations will be open (pending staffing).
- Online Urgent Care Video Visits are available.

- If you have an existing MyChart account, begin the process in MyChart.
- Health system emergency and inpatient services remain open as always. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
Olathe Health locations
- Olathe Primary Care locations are closed.
- Olathe Urgent Care locations are closed.
- Olathe Outpatient Rehabilitation locations are closed.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center
- We will be rescheduling many in-person appointments and treatments currently scheduled for Monday, January 6.
- A member of our care team will contact patients to reschedule existing in-person appointments, as needed, if they have not already been rescheduled or switched to telehealth.
- Telehealth appointments will continue to take place as scheduled.
- Patients receiving BMT treatments will be seen in-person as scheduled, unless otherwise notified.
- Please watch for a text message or check MyChart for appointment information.
