Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday Hours

Kansas City, Kan. – In recognition of the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, some of The University of Kansas Health System’s offices will have modified hours on Monday, January 20, 2025.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday hours

Doctor office hours

  • All doctor offices will be closed Monday, January 20. Our staff will support routine scheduling needs and answer routine MyChart messages when normal business hours resume.

Outpatient imaging

  • All outpatient imaging locations will be closed Monday, January 20.

Pharmacy hours

  • Our retail pharmacy locations inside Bell Hospital Tower and Cambridge Tower A (on the Kansas City campus shared with the medical center) will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, January 20.
  • Our Southlake Business Park location in Lenexa will be closed Monday, January 20.
  • Our Westwood Campus and Indian Creek Campus locations will be closed Monday, January 20.

Urgent care hours

Walk-in lab hours

  • Our walk-in lab locations will be closed Monday, January 20.

Walk-in orthopedic care

  • Our orthopedic walk-in care office at I-435 and Nall will be closed Monday, January 20.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center

  • The University of Kansas Cancer Center will be closed for exam visits Monday, January 20, with these exceptions:
    • Limited hours for scheduled BMT clinic and treatment at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood.
    • Limited hours for scheduled medical oncology treatments at the Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Care Pavilion in Westwood.
  • Radiation oncology sites will be closed Monday, January 20, unless emergency treatments are required.

Great Bend, Kansas, locations

  • All doctor offices in Great Bend will be closed Monday, January 20.
  • Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic at St. Rose Medical Pavilion will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday, January 20.
  • No inpatient services will be affected by the holidays.
