Kansas City, Kan. — Injuries happen around the clock, and The University of Kansas Health System wants to make sure you can get the best advice for how and where to get treatment. We’ve partnered with HURT!, a mobile application you can access after hours to get free injury advice from orthopedic specialists.
If you – or your child – suffer a sprain, strain or fracture nights or weekends, go to PoweredByHurt.com/KansasHealthSystem and download the application to your mobile phone on iOS or Android. Once registered, you can send photos, videos and messages to a HURT! orthopedic specialist and get a response within minutes. The HURT! experts will advise appropriate follow-up care with a network partner, a walk-in care location or an ER in an urgent situation. Your information may be shared with the health system, and an orthopedic scheduler will contact you to make an appointment during business hours.
When can I walk in for orthopedic care?
