Kansas City, Kan. — In observance of Memorial Day, our KU MedWest urgent care clinic will be open from 8 a.m.-noon on Monday, May 25. All other urgent care clinics will be closed.
The urgent care team stresses the importance of sun protection, hydration and fire and boating safety – the top reasons for Memorial Day emergent care. In addition, the community should continue to wash hands often with soap and water or alcohol-based sanitizer, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, clean and disinfect regularly, practice physical distancing and stay home when sick. In case of a medical emergency, call 9-1-1.
