Kansas City, Kan. — Ingram’s magazine published its annual Top Doctors issue this month. Every year, the magazine recognizes the best doctors in the region. In 2024, The University of Kansas Health System is honored to have 3 doctors on the list.
Jeffrey Burns

Jeffrey M. Burns, MD

Neurology

Dr. Jeffrey Burns directs the memory care clinic and the neurocognitive division of neurology at The University of Kansas Health System. He also co-directs the KU Alzheimer's Disease Center, one of 29 nationally designated research centers in the country. The memory care clinic is a comprehensive clinic for state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatments of individuals with memory problems including Alzheimer's disease and related disorders.

Family Medicine

Dr. John Feehan is a board-certified family medicine specialist who provides family-centered care for patients of all ages. He decided to focus on family medicine during his rotation in Yates Center, Kansas. The value of preventive medicine and the joy of providing care to multiple generations of families influenced his choice. Dr. Feehan has been a part of the Olathe Health community since 1987.

"The opportunity to care for many multi-generational families ... This continuity relationship, to be invited to be an extended member of these families, has been incredibly rewarding."

Moben Mirza

Moben Mirza, MD

Urology

Dr. Moben Mirza is a urologic oncologist and the interim chair of urology at The University of Kansas Health System. He specializes in the treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile cancers and performs open, endoscopic and robotic surgeries. He has performed over 2,000 robotic surgeries and is considered an expert and leader in robotic surgery.

Nationally, he is program chair of the Society of Urologic Oncology, on the Executive Board of the Society of Academic Urologists, a committee member on the AUA Medical Student Committee and on the AUA Education Council. He is an examiner for the ABU and is a member of the SCS AUA Board as well as the SCS AUA Resident and Fellow Committee.
