Topeka, Kan. — The University of Kansas Health System maternal-fetal-medicine care team, formerly on SW Gage Boulevard in Topeka, is relocating their offices to the health system’s St. Francis Campus. They will begin seeing patients on January 19.
Maternal-fetal-medicine diagnosis and treatment is ideal for those experiencing high-risk pregnancies or any fetal abnormality. The team provides the most advanced services available in the region.
The maternal-fetal-medicine facility will provide new exam rooms, additional ultrasound suites and expanded care space. The environment is designed to support patients who want to visit one location for multispecialty services. These include highly specialized services such as genetic counseling and advanced imaging.
At the new location, the maternal-fetal-medicine care team will continue to provide the specialized care that patients and referring physicians in the region have come to expect. This team in Topeka is part of a larger care team providing services across 5 metro area locations.
With more than 100 years of combined practice experience, the larger specialty team will continue advancing the power of medicine in collaboration with referring providers.
