Concerts, sports and other entertainment events have taken center stage at Sprint Center since its opening in 2007. Now, it is also home to the first urgent care clinic inside the downtown loop – provided by The University of Kansas Health System.
The clinic, located inside Sprint Center’s Grand Lobby and next to the College Basketball Experience at 1403 Grand Blvd., offers convenient walk-in healthcare for those who work or live around downtown Kansas City. Hours of operation are 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
"We’ve been part of Sprint Center from its beginning, taking care of athletes at its sporting events and the crowds at all events," says Bob Page, president and chief executive officer of The University of Kansas Health System.
"With Sprint Center as the catalyst, we see people from throughout the metro flocking downtown to live, work and play. They deserve access to basic healthcare close to their jobs and their homes," says Page.
Sprint Center Urgent Care offers premier care for all patients older than 6 months of age to treat minor illnesses and injuries such as:
