Unlike liposuction, which uses a suctioning mechanism to remove fat cells, KYBELLA uses chemical compounds to dissolve unwanted fat under the chin. The results from KYBELLA often appear as if they were achieved naturally because the fat cells dissolve gradually, over a matter of weeks. For most people, injections take no longer than 15-30 minutes depending on the extent of concerns treated. Repeated treatments with KYBELLA achieve the best results. Usually, at least 2 treatment sessions are recommended.

KYBELLA is ideal treatment for people who want to reduce excess fat beneath the chin. Those interested in this nonsurgical neck contouring technique should also:

KYBELLA is delivered in a strategic series of small injections throughout the targeted area. The active ingredient in KYBELLA is deoxycholic acid. This naturally occurring compound breaks down fat cells so that they can be easily metabolized by the body – eliminating them permanently. As fat cells are metabolized, the volume of treated fat pockets will diminish and the area should appear smoother and tighter over time.

KYBELLA is currently the only FDA-approved injectable specifically designed to improve a double chin. This treatment offers many benefits when compared to surgical procedures, including:
