Overland Park, Kan. — Summer is around the corner, so now is the time to register for our summer youth athlete training program! The University of Kansas Health System Sports Medicine and Performance Center in Overland Park at 125th and Antioch now offers a 20% discount for early enrollment in its youth summer program.
The 10-week program, which runs June 6-August 12, offers sessions for athletes from age 8 through college age. Sign up by June 6 for the discount.
“Our summer program introduces athletes to the fundamental movement patterns that are needed to compete in all sports,” says Roger Allen, strength and athletic development supervisor at the Sports Medicine and Performance Center. “Each week, drills progress in difficulty and every session ends with sport-specific drill work, giving athletes an edge over their competition.”

- Afternoon option: 4-5 p.m. Monday-Friday

The multiple class times provide flexibility to attend as little as once per week or up to 5 times per week for all athletes.
