Kansas City, Kan. — Now is the time when most insurance plan options offer open enrollment. That means it’s time for you to make sure the insurance plan you choose includes the healthcare providers you regularly see or plan to see. Plan options that include providers at The University of Kansas Health System are listed below.
Find a plan with the providers you want
Before you choose a health insurance plan for 2022, check the list of network providers to ensure the doctors and other providers you want to use are covered by the plan. If you select a plan that does not include your doctor, you will have to pay more to see that doctor. Otherwise, you will have to transfer your care to another provider within your insurance plan’s network.
The health system is in-network for a variety of plan types, including Medicare and those offered through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Health Insurance Marketplace.
Enroll 365 can help you choose a plan.
